Answers about your child.
Without the years of waiting.
Consultant-led ADHD, autism and combined assessments for children and young people - carried out to NICE standards at our clinic in Leamington Spa, and explained in a way that makes sense to you and to them.
Diagnoses follow NICE guidelines CG128 and NG87
ADHD assessment
A full NICE-standard diagnostic assessment for attention, focus, impulsivity and hyperactivity, with a written report and a clear management plan.

Autism assessment
A structured autism (ASD) diagnostic assessment drawing on school information, developmental history and direct observation of your child.

Combined autism & ADHD
Both assessments carried out together, so overlapping traits are considered side by side rather than in two separate journeys.

Anxiety & mental health
Assessment and ongoing management of anxiety, low mood and emotional wellbeing in children and young people.

You know your child. We take that as the starting point.
Most families arrive here worried, tired of being told to wait, and unsure whether anyone is really going to look properly.
Our consultations are unhurried and child-centred. We take the time to find the cause of a difficulty, not just manage its symptoms, and to explain what is happening so that your child's experience finally makes sense - to you and to them.
And we don't stop at the diagnosis. Management, medication review and support for school carry on afterwards.
Why families choose us
NICE-standard diagnosis
Assessments follow NICE guidelines CG128 (autism) and NG87 (ADHD), so reports stand up with schools and the NHS.
Transparent fees
Every fee is published before you book. No surprise charges once an assessment is under way.
Short waits
Our books are open, so families are usually seen in weeks rather than the years of an NHS pathway.
Child-centred
Consultations are unhurried, sensitive and explained in language your child can understand.
From first email to written report
Nothing about this process should be a mystery. Here is exactly what happens.
- 01
Get in touch
Send a short enquiry describing your concerns. We'll tell you which type of appointment fits, or say honestly if we're not the right service.
- 02
Pre-assessment information
We gather developmental history, school observations and standardised questionnaires before you come in, so clinic time is spent with your child.
- 03
Clinic appointment
An unhurried consultation at our Leamington Spa clinic with direct observation and time for both you and your child to be heard.
- 04
Diagnosis explained
Findings are explained in plain language on the day - what they mean, what they don't, and what happens next.
- 05
Written report
A full report you can share with school, your GP and the NHS, written to NICE standards.
- 06
Ongoing management
Where treatment or medication is appropriate, we review, titrate and support rather than discharge you at diagnosis.
Fees you can see before you commit
We publish what things cost rather than hiding them behind an enquiry, and confirm the exact figure in writing before anything is booked. No surprise charges once an assessment is under way.
Questions parents ask
If yours isn't here, email us - we'd rather answer it than have you book the wrong appointment.
All FAQsWhere are your clinics held?
All appointments take place at our clinic at Supersonic House, 23 Adelaide Road, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire CV31 3PD. There is parking nearby and the clinic is a short drive from Coventry, Warwick, Rugby, Solihull and south Birmingham.
We live outside Warwickshire - can we still be seen?
Yes. Families travel to us from across the Midlands and from much further afield in the UK. Because assessment involves seeing your child in person, you will need to attend the clinic at least once.
Do you offer home visits?
No. Our clinicians run full clinic lists and cannot visit at home. If your child finds leaving the house very difficult, please email us - we will talk through what we can do to make an appointment manageable.
How long is the wait for an appointment?
It depends on the type of assessment. Our books are currently open, and waits are typically measured in weeks. Email us with a brief outline of your concerns and we will give you a realistic timescale.
Will my child's school and the NHS accept the diagnosis?
Our assessments follow NICE guidelines - CG128 for autism in under-19s and NG87 for ADHD. Reports written to this standard should be accepted by your child's school and by the NHS.
Can autism and ADHD be assessed at the same time?
Yes, and often they should be. The two frequently occur together and their traits overlap, so a combined assessment looks at both at once rather than sending you round the same process twice.
Families travel to us from across the Midlands
Our clinic is in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, and we also see families from much further afield in the UK.
