Open to new patients - ADHD, autism and combined assessments

About us

A children's clinic built around being listened to

Healthcare4Kids is a consultant-led neurodevelopmental and mental health service for children and young people, based in Leamington Spa and seeing families from across the Midlands and the wider UK.

Consultant-led, always

Every assessment pathway is led by Dr Jo Jones, consultant paediatrician and founder.

Our approach

Parents come to us worried, often after a long wait somewhere else, and frequently after being told their concerns are nothing. We start from the position that you know your child.

Our job is to work out what is actually happening - carefully, using the same NICE standards the NHS works to - and then to explain it in a way that makes sense to you and to your child.

We work largely by email between appointments, which means enquiries are read and answered promptly rather than sitting in a queue.

What we hold ourselves to

Time to talk

Appointments are unhurried. Parents consistently tell us the difference is being listened to properly rather than processed.

Explained, not pronounced

A diagnosis is only useful if you understand it. We explain what we've found, what it means and what it doesn't.

Child-centred

Consultations are pitched at your child, so their own symptoms make sense to them and not just to the adults in the room.

We stay involved

Diagnosis is the start of the work. Reviews, medication management and school liaison continue afterwards.

Why families choose us

NICE-standard diagnosis

Assessments follow NICE guidelines CG128 (autism) and NG87 (ADHD), so reports stand up with schools and the NHS.

Transparent fees

Every fee is published before you book. No surprise charges once an assessment is under way.

Short waits

Our books are open, so families are usually seen in weeks rather than the years of an NHS pathway.

Child-centred

Consultations are unhurried, sensitive and explained in language your child can understand.

Talk to us about your child

Tell us a little about your concerns and we'll advise on the right type of appointment - there's no obligation to book.
